General Purpose 50 yard Range

         The General Purpose Range is the newest range at our facility.  We needed to make a protective berm along one side of the range road as it comes behind the Primary and Steel Plate Ranges and the dirt had to come from somewhere.   It is 50 yards long and about 35 yards wide and has a large covered area uprange.    Police departments are using it to qualify their officers.  I use it to qualify guards from the private security companies I service.  It is out of the way, not heavily used, flat and has a nice 12 foot berm surrounding it.  I also have done some landscaping since these pictures were taken and the range now has grass coming up on it.     This will serve as an overflow area for the already busy rifle range.
