Here is my latest project, a 1986 Mazda RX7. My goal is to put together a Chevy 383 stroker with a LS1 T56 6 speed trans in a car that has great handling characteristics and weighs about 1000 pounds less than a Camero. The engine should have about 450 hp/400 ftlbs torque when tuned. I started this project in January 05 with the purchase of two RX7's on an ebay auction. $535 and two trips to Georgia with a trailer later, and I was underway. The links to the left have tons of pics showing how this monster is progressing.... It Runs!!
I have a few bugs to iron out but its off jack stands and on the road. There is only one way to describe the way this car runs... Stupid Fast. I have a video posted on the running good page to the right. Check it out.
