The Rifle Range is one of the most popular ranges we have.  A lot of people decided to join our range just because we had a nice rifle range.  It is 100 yards long and about 20 yards wide.  There are three mounted target stands on the range, one at 33 yards for getting on paper, one at 50 yards, and one at 100 yards.   We poured 6 benchrest tables out of concrete and set them on cinder block bases.  Each benchrest table top weighs about 600 pounds.  They are very steady, it is just like shooting off a big rock; they don't move. 

The shooting area is covered, like all the ranges at our facility, to allow comfortable year round shooting.  Deer season is probably the busiest time of the year for the rifle range, with everyone wanting to make sure their rifles are zeroed before heading out to the hunting club.  Most hunting clubs have very strict rules prohibiting any type of target shooting and many of our members have told me that if it were not for our rifle range, they would not be able to get any practice at all before deer season.
