Primary RangeThis is one of the ten ranges we have at our facility. The "Primary" range was built in the 1970's by FOP Lodge 58 as a Police Qualification Range. It is fifty yards long and about 35 yards wide. It has concrete sidewalks at the distances needed for the Alabama Police Officer Standards In Training Course and a nice lawn type turf. There is a covered area uprange that will provide some degree of protection from the elements and allow year round usage in all weather. We recently added a dozen concrete benchrest tables for 22LR shooters. This range has electricity run to it with lights available for night time or low light training excercises. Several of the props used in the IPSC matches are stored on the Primary Range and are available to you if you want to set up a course to practice on. This range is near our office and rest rooms and faces in a north west direction.
And they are level, too! |
