Glock 17L Hybrid Compensated

This is my most recent addition to the stable.  It is a rare glock with a factory schumann hybrid type glock ploygonal rifled barrel.  The barrel, slide and frame have matching serial numbers, meaning this is a factory built gun.  I have never seen another like it.  All the 17L's I have seen or read about have the stock glock barrel with a set of holes drilled in it.  This one is very different.  The front sight is a steel sight instead of plastic that is dovetailed into the front of the barrel.  The rear sights are factory adjustable.  It has a very light trigger pull that breaks at about 2 pounds.  The guide rod is tungsten, which helps dampen recoil.  It shoots positively flat with no perceivable muzzle flip.  The slide is lightened on the inside with the area beside the striker carved out.  I have seen other 17L's but not with the factory slide lightened.  I recently found out that this was a AeroTek conversion.  AeroTek confirmed that they had modified this gun several years ago.  The AimTech mount and TascoPDP4 scope and blast deflector make this gun great for steel plates.  I shot a box of ammo through it at plates at 100 yards and got lots if hits... offhand, with no rest.  It is very accurate.  The bullet hits what the dot is covering.

17L left side 17L Front.. notice the blast deflector in front of the scope, helps keep the front lense clean.
17L under side of the slide. Notice the slide lightening job, the area beside the striker has been relieved.  The front sight is steel and is dovetailed into the barrel The slide is cut for the hybrid barrel to fit

I currently am trying to find out the history on this gun.  I know it was a very limited production from Glock.  I want to know how many were made and what this gun is worth.  It is in very good condition and has not seen a bunch of ammo... yet.  If its value as a collector turns out to be dissapointing, you'll see it on a regular basis at the plate matches.  It shoots great!!!
